Valentine's Day Stories & Songs
If you fancy celebrating Valentine's Day in a quirky way come and join myself and several other writers from the Illiterati Writing Group in Hastings at our 'Not a love story' event at The Beacon arts venue in Hastings. The evening will consist of humorous and embarassing readings on the theme of 'love'. The second part of the evening will be given over to Sally Holloway's saucy new radio play performed live. Come and join us for a night of stories and song on Saturday 16th February.
Ten lovely writers joined me for my first ever Writing Retreat Workshop on Saturday 17th November at Sussex Downs College, Eastbourne. It was such an enjoyable day and generated a lot of writing. I will be holding more of these days in 2013 so check back here in the New Year for information.
I will also be collabortaing again with Gina at Something Literary to bring other workshops after the success of our three workshops in the past couple of months. We intent to plan for these in the new year.
I have met wonderful people and talented writers through teaching this year which makes me look forward to 2013 with gusto! It is great to see a mix of new faces and familiar faces at workshops and I hope to see many of you again in 2013.
